STORE MANAGER Location: Cookstown Salary: circa £35K plus commission Our Client, one of Irelands leading Interior Design and Home Furnishing Retailers, is currently seeking a Store Manager to join its dynamic team based in Cookstown. Job Responsibilities To supervise and manage the team within the Cookstown Store. To ensure that team members are trained in product awareness and new products coming in and to manage staff training and performance. To listen and liaise with members of staff and learn from their experience and ideas and to co-operate with colleagues and other departments to ensure the best possible service. Input ideas on marketing, promotions, advertisements and event creation. Be knowledgeable about store layout, products and stock availability. Have thorough knowledge of service standards required within departments. To merchandise and display departmental products in a creative and eye-catching manner. Ensuring deliveries to the shop are overseen, making sure paperwork is correct, transfers are in and out and returns labelled. To manage all customer complaints in line with procedures. To maintain accurate and eye-catching POS at all times on all products within departments. Ensure departments are tidy and neat. To handle customer information confidentially and be professional at all times. To visit customer homes and travel to other branches when required. Key skills Experience of managing retail teams in a fast-moving retail environment, ideally within the home furnishings sector. Highly commercial, organised and adaptable with the ability to prioritise workload. Maths & English GCSE Grade C or equivalent. Motivated, with keen attention to detail. Reliable with desire to exceed expectations. Fully flexible and available to work weekends.
