The Health, Safety & Risk Team provide advice to Council departments and schools within Hartlepool. The team is involved in a wide range of safety and well-being initiatives, from pro-active auditing and training to undertaking incident investigations.
We are currently looking for a Health and Safety Adviser to join the team.
As a Health and Safety Adviser you will:
1. Act as a competent person as required by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
2. Provide a health and safety advisory service, which supports, enables and regulates internal H&S performance.
3. Provide assistance to develop, organise and deliver internal training courses on health and safety-related subjects.
If you have previous safety experience, good communication skills, and a successful track record of helping to improve safety performance, we would like to hear from you.
