Who You Are You are dedicated to working within a multi-agency team as part of the My Space Sefton Child Protection Against Exploitation team. You have experience in youth work, a thorough understanding of child development and trauma, and a strong commitment to child protection and empowerment. You understand the roles of various agencies working with young people and are skilled at building trusted adult relationships with children and families, contributing to care planning, and assessing risk and needs. What the Job Involves You will deliver creative and evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing exploitation, partnering with the Exploitation Team Around the Child Approach. Key tasks include working closely with social work teams, contributing to assessments and planning, delivering individual interventions, preparing reports for meetings, and using inclusive practice to address issues of identity and diversity. You are also responsible for maintaining accurate records and participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure comprehensive support for at-risk children.
