We are recruiting for an experienced P6 Planner to join our Project Controls team, supporting a portfolio of infrastructure and utility programmes for private sector clients, including major water companies.
We have opportunities in Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, Merseyside and Cheshire.
Role Responsibilities:
Development, maintenance, and optimisation of detailed P6 schedules across project lifecycles.
Constructing programmes from first principles with clarity in logic, sequencing, and resource profiles.
Conducting schedule assurance reviews, progress updates, variance analysis, and mitigation planning.
Integrating inputs across design, civils, M&E, and commissioning teams to ensure delivery alignment.
Supporting schedule-based performance reporting and trend analysis using project controls best practice.
Contributing to planning governance and consistency across the portfolio.
About You:
You are a highly proficient Primavera P6 user with demonstrable experience planning and scheduling complex infrastructure projectsparticularly in the water and utilities sectors. You understand how projects are scoped, designed, constructed, and commissioned, and can translate this into robust, logic-driven programmes.
Expertise in Primavera P6 and a deep understanding of infrastructure delivery in regulated environments.
Familiarity with cost/schedule integration, change control, and schedule risk techniques (e.g., QSRA).
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to convey complex planning insights effectively.
A flexible, delivery-focused mindset and commitment to accurate, data-driven decision-making.
Eligibility for UK Security Clearance.
