Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music Teacher to join our vibrant and dynamic team at ABC Teachers. We work with well-regarded secondary schools in and around the Stourbridge and local area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities.
* Inspire and motivate students to develop their musical skills and foster a love for music.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
* Organise and lead extracurricular music activities, including school concerts, performances, and music clubs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a creative and inclusive music curriculum.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in music education and integrate them into your teaching practice.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree in Music or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Proven experience teaching music at the secondary level.
* Strong knowledge of the UK music curriculum.
* Ability to play and teach a range of musical instruments is desirable.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Music Teacher you will:
* PGCE in Secondary Music
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Must hold a PGCE in teaching secondary school Music
* Salary depends on number of days worked and full responsibilities of the role.
