Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated plumber/ Heating Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience in heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
1. Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential properties.
2. Plumb heating systems, ensuring all connections are secure and leak-free.
3. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks.
4. Assemble heating units and related components according to specifications.
5. Perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
6. Perform plumbing repairs including taps, toilets, and leaks.
7. Carry out heating works such as replacement of radiators and balancing heating.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a plumber / Heating Engineer or in a similar role.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively.
3. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
4. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
5. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
6. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
7. Clean driving licence.
8. CSCS / JIB card.
A Van will be provided which means the engineer would start and finish the day at our office in Hampton, Malpas.
Hours: 8am – 5pm
