About the Role
Equitas is delighted to partner with a well-established and forward-thinking school to find a passionate History Teacher. This exciting full-time role will involve teaching History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a vibrant and diverse school community. Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality history lessons that engage and challenge students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Create and implement schemes of work, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum and the school’s standards.
* Use a variety of teaching methods, including practical activities, group work, and project-based learning, to enhance student understanding.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners and ensure inclusion for students of varying abilities.
* Provide feedback and assessments to monitor student progress, setting individual targets to support their growth.
* Actively contribute to departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the history curriculum.
