This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious newly qualified teacher (NQT) looking to inspire the next generation as they approach the transition to secondary school. About the Role: As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students to achieve their best. You will play a key role in preparing students for their end-of-key-stage assessments and ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to move on to the next stage of their educational journey. Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects in line with the National Curriculum. Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure they are achieving their potential. Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Supporting students’ emotional and social development, promoting their well-being. Preparing students for their SATs and ensuring they feel confident and well-prepared. Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and school staff regarding student progress and any concerns. Participating in school-wide activities, including staff meetings, professional development, and extracurricular opportunities. The Ideal Candidate: A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) holder or equivalent. Experience in teaching at Key Stage 2, preferably within a setting (although NQTs are welcome to apply). A strong understanding of the curriculum and SATs requirements. Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students. A positive, proactive approach and a passion for ensuring every child reaches their full potential. A commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement.
