As an Engineer, you will: Provide technical/engineeringsupportto the land/development team to assist during feasibility studies andleadin the preparation of site viability reports in line with current regulatory requirements for residential development. Identify the need for external consultants,agreefees, the scope of service capability, timescales and deliverability. Manage relationships with consultants to ensure the flow of information is within theagreedtimescales and in accordance with, and on schedule with the programme and in line with the National Housebuilding council standards. Be aware of and act upon commercial implications relating to planning & architectural design; civil & structural engineering design; geotechnical & ground remediation strategies; statutory services new supplies & diversions. Assist in the process oftenderingfor, setting-up and establishing on site management companies, whilst implementing the group procedures and ensuring all legal aspects in relation to various agreements. Interact with internal departments, consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors as necessary in order to achieve Building Regulations and warranty approval and satisfactory conditions discharge. Assist in the preparation of key status reports and updates on all KPIs relating to the Technical function. Co-ordinate the appointment of utilities, including designs, quotes and any required agreements. Responsible for managing the Adoption process. Provide engineeringsupportto site teams and Internal departments. Be present on site andleadon relevant technical meetings relating to the procurement and approval of site infrastructure. The Ideal Candidate: A relevant qualification or strong experience in technical design, and/or civil engineering Knowledge of engineering requirements of the house building industry and the legal framework associated with Technical standards and requirements.
