Assistant Accountant (12-Month Maternity Cover)

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Role Summary: As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team during a 12-month maternity cover. Your responsibilities will include managing purchase ledger processes, ensuring accurate records, and contributing to the financial stability of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and maintain purchase ledger transactions.
* Assist with month-end close activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Utilise Sage 200 software for efficient financial management.
* Contribute to the overall success of the finance department.
Requirements:
* Solid experience in purchase ledger management.
* Proficiency in Sage 200 (highly desirable).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
Salary: £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
