The Topsham Primary School is looking for two enthusiastic, talented, resilient and committed people.
We are looking for someone with Early Years experience to join our team in the reception classroom.
We are also looking for a TA with an HLTA qualification to join our team as support in classrooms, as well as some aspects of teaching across the week. HLTA hours paid at £15.33 per hour.
School work is rewarding and satisfying with no two days the same. You will ultimately be part of a team ensuring a safe and happy learning environment for our children.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will need to be calm but firm and enjoy working with children, having a minimum qualification at GCSE Maths and English. Experience of working in a classroom situation or a qualification as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA is required. We are looking for someone who can continue to liaise and build relationships with parents and families; therefore, good and courteous communication skills are a necessity.
The reason for these fixed-term posts is to provide cover for vacancies pending the advertisement and appointment of permanent members of staff.
