About the Role This is a management post responsible for the supervision of a team of Craft Operatives to deliver a first class repairs and maintenance service through the management and delivery of work within Void properties. The post holder will survey properties and then manage work streams within voids maintenance programmes which maximises tenants satisfaction with the quality of their homes and the neighbourhood they live in. About You The ideal candidate will have: Successfully co-ordinate all void maintenance, repairs and investment programme of works within agreed performance targets, to budget and within forecasted timescales. Undertake and prepare detailed surveys of properties, the compilation of works specifications and program / project plans Lead and manage direct reports and is accountable for the performance of Operatives within Voids team. To manage the teams conduct and performance in line with all relevant HR policies and procedures e.g. setting individual and team objectives within the NCCHSs cultures and values. Conducting regular site visits to advise Craft Operatives/sub-contractors on solutions in relation to solving complex and technical matters. To ensure that relevant legislative; environmental; health and safety policy procedure and operational processes are adhered to at all times.
