JOB TITLE: Cabin Services Team Leader Day
LOCATION: London Heathrow Airport
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 2 off, early start is 0500 and late finish is 23.00 mixed shifts
PAY RATE: £13.80 PER HOUR

We are recruiting in a wide variety of roles including – Operations Managers, Duty Managers, Quality Managers, Team Leaders, and Secure Clean Operatives with opportunities on both days and nights. “Make a Difference”, come and join our amazing Cabin Services team at Heathrow.
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
The purpose of the Team Leader is to ensure quality of cleaning standards are met within the time frame set per aircraft, effectively acting second in command to the Cabin Appearance Manager and monitoring aircraft to ensure compliance with relevant processes. The ideal candidate will have experience of aircraft cleaning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Proactive management of cleaning teams.
2. Ensure quality standards of cleaning and security checks are carried out effectively.
3. Set an example and deliver legendary service.
4. Liaise with movement control to obtain daily work details and relevant paperwork.
5. Attend briefings regarding key focus cleaning areas and communicate effectively with the team.
6. Efficiently plan and allocate tasks to team members.
7. Update security check sheets in line with compliance.
8. Complete and return secure clean and vehicle defect documentation.
9. Collaborate with allocations team on aircraft arrival times and secure cleaning turnaround times.
10. Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with standards.
11. Manage, coach, and mentor aircraft cleaners.
12. Ensure absence management processes are followed.
13. Maintain staff discipline and conformance with Company policies.
14. Ensure paperwork is managed in line with GDPR.
HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Always follow Group and company policies and procedures.
2. Report deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may result in service delivery failure or risk.
3. Use work equipment and personal PPE properly.
4. Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Previous experience as a driver, preferably with passenger transport.
2. Previous Supervisory /Management experience.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. A general understanding of H&S legislation.
5. Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
6. Strong attention to detail.
7. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
8. Flexible availability to work various shift patterns.
9. Valid driving license desirable.
10. Computer literate.
