Job Description
Please note as this post is part time, your salary will be pro rata to hours worked.
To provide a statutory Social Work Service in accordance with the provisions of relevant legislation and national and local guidelines.
To assume case management responsibilities specific to the Service, carrying out assessment of service users needs and risks, where necessary using accredited risk assessment tools. To follow Service procedures, delivering direct interventions to individuals and small groups as part of a programme of interventions. The role will also involve participating in structured consultation/supervision sessions as required, and representing the Social Work Service in multi-disciplinary forums. This will all be in accordance with the Council or hosted stakeholder’s arrangements, through a Service Level Agreement or Partnership agreement.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and / or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment on how to apply. Please note you will be required to pay for the cost of this application if your salary is over £38, per annum, which will be deducted from your first pay.
