The Company:
A fantastic opportunity for an Import Merchandiser to play a crucial role in facilitating the sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be working in an extremely fast paced environment and we require a versatile and dynamic candidate to service their ever-growing customer base of high street, e-tailers and supermarkets.
The Role:
* Raise, manage and track purchase orders, amending where necessary.
* Manage the Critical Path with the suppliers and customers to ensure agreed delivery dates are maintained.
* Check lab dips/strike offs /trims and bulk fabric submissions and send to the customer for approval.
* Communicate clear detailed approval comments to suppliers
* Calculating cost prices through to sell prices whilst maintaining margins.
* Responsible for the timely delivery of Gold Seal samples to customers.
* Build strong relationships with High Street retail customers and suppliers- taking appropriate actions to ensure all needs are met.
* Attend Handover meetings between the Merchandising & Garment Technology teams.
* complete customer packaging requirements and send to factory.
* Ensure correct critical path and summary is sent to the customer as required.
Skills Required:
* Have at least 3 years’ experience within Import Merchandising.
* Have strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
* Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
* Experience of dealing with & resolving issues with High Street customers & Far East factories.
* Have a clean driving license & be willing to travel to client meetings.
* Strong communication, planning & organising skills.
* Can work on own initiative and is focused on achieving results.
* Can build relationships easily.
* Meticulous/pays attention to detail.
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
