Who We Are
Myshon is a national Intensive Housing Management, Asset Management, and Advisory company established in 2017. We focus on Specialist Supported Housing, Supported Housing, and Affordable Housing. Our mission is to support independent living for vulnerable adults, including those with acute mental health issues, severe learning and physical difficulties, and alcohol and substance misuse. We aim to provide a domestic environment embedded in local communities to promote independence and tailored support.
Job Role
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Mobilise and stabilise a large, geographically dispersed portfolio of supported housing, PRS housing, and temporary accommodation.
* Directly manage a team of Housing Support Officers responsible for the day-to-day delivery of Intensive Housing Management and support to a diverse group of tenants across the country.
* Act as the lead liaison between Myshon, local authorities, clients, and a wide variety of counterparties.
* Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and potential collaboration.
* Ensure Myshon meets KPIs and inform wider teams of any required actions.
* Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure proactive and responsive service.
* Explore and promote ‘value add’ opportunities with clients and advocate for Myshon in new business explorations.
Internal Stakeholder Relations
* Collaborate with Myshon heads of department and work as a team to address client issues or concerns.
* Work closely with BMC, Credit Control, Housing Support, Housing Income, Finance, and Central Services teams.
* Manage all correspondence and workstreams arising from client engagement.
Strategic Contribution
* Provide feedback to the Operations Director and Senior Management Team on potential partnership opportunities, trends, and industry developments.
Data and Governance Support
* Assist in data analysis, governance, and general analytics as required.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection, and ethical standards.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Solid knowledge and understanding of the lease-based part of the supported housing sector.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven experience in supported housing management at a mid-senior level.
* Exceptional project management and organisational abilities.
* Strategic thinking and ability to leverage value add opportunities.
* Familiarity with governance, compliance, and ethical practices.
* Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.
* Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
* Ability to travel and overnight stays; access to own car required.
