Description
As the Supply Chain Manager, you'll guide your team to deliver accurate production plans, monitor and report key performance indicators, and ensure that materials and resources are in place to meet production demands. Acting as the central point of escalation, you will mentor and support team members while actively participating in planning and KPI meetings. Working closely with the leadership team, you'll contribute to both daily efficiency's and strategic initiatives to streamline our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning team in producing reliable production plans, ensuring on-time and efficient manufacturing.
Oversee Materials Planners for raw material and packaging purchases, whilst maintaining production flow.
Track and report departmental KPIs, and manage haulier performance alongside the customer service and warehouse teams.
Identify, train, and mentor talent within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Support the team in managing supply issues, production shortages, and customer communications.
Attend key meetings, both internal and external, to represent the planning function and provide insights.Profile
Supply Chain Background with strong experience leading teams in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills with an ability to build and maintain effective relationships across departments and with external partners.
A strategic, forward-thinking approach, able to simplify complex problems and drive solutions.
Team leadership abilities - personable, decisive, and organised, with a proven track record of developing and motivating teams.
Self-starter with resilience and flexibility, able to work autonomously and adapt to changing needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage 200 and project management methodologies is a plus.Job Offer
