Viper Innovations Ltd provides innovative, high-end engineering products and service solutions for the Global Subsea Oil & Gas and Rail industries. We have a dynamic and enterprising leadership and management team, and a total staff of 86 based in the UK and the United States.
The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, either wanting to progress to an HR leadership role, or who has previous experience at this level, with a passion for driving our people strategy.
The day-to-day will be varied but will have a focus on all aspects of the people strategy, collaborating closely with Viper’s board of directors, managers and supported by the HR team adopting HR best practice in the UK and other relevant countries.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Lead HR strategies to ensure they support business growth, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
* Leadership of the HR department and driving the performance to support the company’s business growth.
* Lead the development of the company’s organisational culture and ensure alignment with the Group’s values and behaviours.
* Forecast and plan workforce requirements, working in conjunction with the Board and managers, to meet future business needs at Viper, whether in the UK or other countries/jurisdictions.
* Foster relationships with external suppliers, including recruitment firms, training providers, and benefits suppliers.
* Provide insights to the Board and managers on HR matters and issues that impact, or may impact, the business.
What We Are Looking For:
* A highly motivated individual with:
o Previous experience in a senior HR role in a fast-paced organisation.
o Able to proactively drive, lead and execute a people plan and experience in business partnering with a proven ability to empower and develop others.
o Degree educated and CIPD qualified at level 7.
o Understands and can take account of the commercial considerations and financial implications of their decision-making.
o Proven problem-solving and strategic skills at a senior level.
o Experience as a leader and role model.
* Desirable, but not essential:
o Background in the engineering and oil & gas industry.
o Previous experience in HR in the global market.
