We are looking for a Sentence Calculation & Safeguarding Manager to join our fantastic team at HMP Fosse Way, a brand new Category C resettlement prison in Leicester with the capacity to house around 1,700 prisoners.
This is a pivotal role, within a very busy demanding team, that plays an important part in safeguarding the general public. You will work with outside agencies to manage all identified offender’s pre-release and share any information that could change a person’s risk factors.
Reporting directly to the Head of Offender Management Services you will manage a team of Co-ordinators whilst overseeing the Sentence Calculation establishment. You must have experience of sentence calculations and a sound understanding of safeguarding procedures.
What you’ll need to do the role
Firstly, your experience will align to the role and you must be Sentence Calculation trained, preferably having experience of working within an Offender Management Unit.
Current management experience is desirable however not essential, access to training and apprenticeships will be available to support leadership skills if the successful applicant needs developing in this area.
Note: for your application to be considered, you must evidence your leadership qualities whilst and abilities to work in a fast paced environment.
You will be confident managing demanding workloads whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
