We are seeking a Quality Engineer to provide support for all aspects of Quality to ensure the business achieves QMS ISO9001 objectives and targets.
The Quality Engineer will play an integral part in ensuring an effective quality management system is adhered to from Goods-In to Despatch. Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish quality requirements for new product development.
* Educating the workforce on their responsibility in relation to quality assurance.
* Developing and rolling out effective training in relation to quality compliance.
* Developing and implementing tools in order to raise awareness in relation to quality.
* Ensuring effective root cause analysis and reporting occurs as required.
* Producing a monthly objective report to the Ops Manager.
* Completing analysis and report on quality statistics (e.g. cost of quality).
* Completing weekly RCCA status report.
* Leading Root cause and Corrective action investigations in all aspects of production, customer complaint and supply chain.
* Managing and performing internal and external audits, audit reporting and RCCA management.
* Developing SOP's, Work Instructions and clear standards of practice.
* Ensuring control and adherence within the manufacturing environment.
* Promoting a culture which ensures discipline of standards and expectations are followed and met at all times.
* Developing compilation of quality control plans.
* Monitoring and measuring Quality of the above.
* Monitoring production processes and identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement.
* Monitoring and controlling all aspects of change management on site.
* Managing risk-based Quality Inspection activity.
