Corporate Accountant – Qualified/Part-Qualified This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant to further their career in a well-established firm. The role is full-time within the corporate team, with occasional travel required for audits. The diverse range of clients will ensure constant challenges, offering valuable and varied experience. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and review accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT for a range of clients. Prepare personal tax returns and corporation tax returns. Assist clients with accounting software, including Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks. Ensure efficient work processes and stay up-to-date with the latest software and methods. Provide ad hoc support to the line manager as needed. Handle administrative tasks for the line manager, including team billing. Set staff budgets and assist in accounts completion. Train and mentor trainees within the team. Maintain excellent client relationships and handle queries in a client-focused manner. Ideal Candidate: AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified. At least 3 years of experience in accounts preparation, with knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Experience in preparing basic tax returns. Proficient in bookkeeping and VAT. Experience with Xero, Sage, and/or QuickBooks. Intermediate Excel skills for spreadsheet development. Strong client communication and supervisory abilities. Experience working with charity accounts is a plus. Familiar with filing company confirmation statements. Experience using CCH software is desirable. Details: Full-time office-based role.
