About the job :
To be considered for this role you must be a Registered Nurse with a degree or diploma in Occupational Health, preferably on part 3 of the NMC register. As the ideal candidate you will be highly motivated, able to work autonomously and as part of a team working within a commercial environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Case work.
2. Health surveillance.
3. Delivering wellbeing activities.
You will need to:
4. Be a Registered Nurse with degree or diploma in Occupational Health.
5. Preferably be on part 3 of the NMC register.
6. Have good clinical knowledge and experience of case management, health screening/surveillance (including audiometry and spirometry) & undertaking health risk assessments.
As a minimum you will have:
A sound knowledge of the relevant legislation, regulations and operational requirements of this position is required. In addition to this you will have a personable approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside the ability to build relationships within all areas of the business.
About the location:
Based mainly in the Reading Occupational Health clinic, with some requirement to cover other clinics along the GWR line as needed. Train travel is provided.
Working pattern:
The working pattern is Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
