Mission & role of the function This position’s prime objective is to operate packing dock equipment to supply packed product for the commercial division and to assist when required other site operations within field of experience and training. Key Accountabilities Support the packing dock team in ensuring planned output volumes of packed products are met safely on time and in full. To carry out front line maintenance within field of training and to ensure housekeeping standards are to the levels agreed with the Production Supervisor. Assist when required with loading of finished products and unloading of incoming materials essential for the operation of the plant. Operate shift patterns as agreed with the Production supervisor and in line with the national agreement and to provide support within other areas of the plant as agreed. Job dimensions A proactive and effective member of the Packing dock Team Liaison with other members of the Packing Dock team as necessary to promote the effectiveness of the team. Job Requirements Involvement in other site activities as required. Good understanding of health safety and environmental impacts of role Positive attitude to training to enable all packing dock activities to be carried out. Capable of working on own or as part of a team.
