HLN Ltd, a RIBA chartered practice with offices based in Cardiff and Kidderminster, is seeking a dynamic and experienced architectural technician with residential experience. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of architectural services, exceptional project management abilities, and strong client relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Produce drawings and documentation as required using REVIT and AutoCAD, independently and in collaboration with our technical team and the wider design team.
2. Be responsible for the preparation and coordination of detailed design and production information including drawings and documents for tender packages and construction drawings.
3. Produce specifications using NBS software and advise on use of materials and construction detailing.
4. Monitor quality and coordination of drawing information ensuring project delivery in line with programme. Ensure compliance with office quality standards.
5. Be responsible for the management of the project including health & safety and building legislation requirements along with day-to-day administration of the projects.
6. Contribute to the design and construction process.
7. Assist with site surveys when required.
8. Attend client meetings as required.
9. Attend design team meetings as required.
10. Follow company procedures including quality management, environmental management systems and health & safety.
11. Manage time effectively and identify any resource requirements.
Experience:
1. Working within the residential sector – 5 years minimum.
2. AutoCAD
3. REVIT
