Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is the operational name of Aneurin Bevan University Local Health Board. The Health Board was established on the 1st October 2009 and covers the areas of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen and South Powys.

Job Overview
We are seeking to employ Registered Nurses, to work within the Early Years Health Visiting teams in the Monmouthshire Borough. This is a development post and the successful applicants will be expected to complete the Specialist Community Health Visiting Training (SCPHN) to become a Registered Health Visitor.
The post holders will be based and work within a team of Health Visitors and skill-mix staff. The successful candidate will have the relevant qualifications, professionalism and clinical skills necessary to work on their own initiative as well as working effectively in partnership with parents/carers and other services such as Family First, Primary Care, Children Services and School Nursing.
We are committed to delivering the Healthy Child Wales Programme. We have an excellent training programme to support and develop our Registered Nurses, with access to safeguarding supervision and management support. We are committed to developing our Nurses as leaders within the Public Health Early Years agenda and ensure we deliver excellent quality of care to the preschool population and their families/carers within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
