As a High Voltage Electrical Technician with private networks or DNO expertise, you’ll play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and refurbishment of HV equipment across various sites.
Your responsibilities will include: Installing, testing, and commissioning substation equipment and associated systems.
Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults through detailed testing and analysis.
Modifying and installing AC/DC wiring and implementing robust earthing systems.
RAMS, test certificates, and completion reports.
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by attending training and professional development sessions.
The Person: Experience in HV equipment installation, maintenance, and fault-finding.
Knowledge of AC/DC wiring and earthing systems.
Experience with cable jointing, end terminations, and LV system switching is a plus.
PASMA, IPAF, or SMSTS qualifications.
