An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Science Teacher with a specialism in Chemistry or Physics to join a reputable school. This role can be full-time or part-time, offering a salary range of £28,000 - £44,000 and excellent benefits.
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering Science lessons to students across Key Stages 2-5, including GCSE and A-Level.
You will be required to work across 3 Worcestershire sites: Lokrum Fields, Chestnut Place, and Sunbrae.
What we are looking for:
1. Supporting students through pre-teaching, revision, and assignment assistance.
2. Preparing and conducting experiments for A-Level practical endorsements.
3. Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students with autism and anxiety.
4. Collaborating with colleagues, therapists, and parents to support student progress.
Minimum qualifications:
1. Previously worked as a Science Teacher, Teacher of Science, or in a similar role.
2. Specialism in Chemistry or Physics, with the ability to teach up to A-Level.
3. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
4. Hold a bachelor’s degree.
5. Ideally have experience working with young people with autism and anxiety.
6. Right to work in the UK.
