Main duties of the job
In your first few months we will ensure that you are trained in many skills that you will need. This includes cannulation and phlebotomy, male and female catheterisation, POC testing, blood transfusion and sampling, ILS, medicines management and IV drugs administration as well as progressing on to triage and assessment skills when you have sufficient experience. A period of time will be given for you to work with your mentor in preparation of your new role working in both AMU/ACE on a rotational basis.
We have extended our bed base and have also extended the service we offer our patients. We have had significant investment in to Care of the Elderly, with a dedicated team of Consultants and Advanced Clinical Practitioners who work with us as we provide excellent care for our patients. In addition to this service we pride ourselves on providing a "Same Day Emergency Care" service, this prevents hospital admissions and has speedy access to investigations.

Salary: £30,420 to £37,030 a year per annum, pro rata if part time
