C&N Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for an Events Planning Manager for a 5* Hotel based on the outskirts of Watford. Our client is a spectacular venue and resort where they offer fine dining, a range of outdoor activities, and an award-winning spa and health club.
The role:
1. Pro-actively sell the venue for special events, weddings, and corporate functions.
2. Build relationships with clients and assist in planning how the event will run.
3. Organise the room/space for the function.
4. Assist with the organisation of the menu.
5. Assist in planning the guest list and finalising all details.
6. Work with other departments and build relationships with these departments including chefs, the operations team, and front and back of house.
7. Communicate effectively with guests of the hotel, colleagues, and other members of staff.
8. Attend regular meetings as required.
9. Perform necessary administration required by the position.
10. Conduct appointments and showrooms.
