As a Summer Intern supporting the Sustainable Workforce Initiative, you will have the opportunity to work on a project that is inherently linked to the long-term sustainability of Roche. Your role will focus on identifying gaps in the current mental health and wellbeing support structures globally and provide evidence-based recommendations on interventions that can be implemented to better prevent, promote, and support the mental health of colleagues. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing employee well-being and fostering a supportive work environment. This internship will provide you with exposure to various aspects of corporate mental health initiatives and the chance to contribute directly to a high-impact project that aligns with Roche's strategic goals.
Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s / Master’s studies at a University, preferably in the field of Psychology, Occupational therapy, Mental health studies or Mental Health Nursing, Social Care within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.
Furthermore you are someone with:
* Great interpersonal skills and are excellent at communicating highly emotive and sensitive topics, both written and verbal, to colleagues whilst maintaining physiological safety.
* A strong understanding of Mental Health and Wellbeing and the ability to apply existing knowledge into a workplace setting.
* The ability to work in dynamic and evolving environments, showing a willingness to learn and adapt to new methods and approaches to meet project objectives.
* The ability to connect with the bigger picture, collaborate effectively, bring a creative mindset and maintain cooperative, interpersonal working relationships in a supportive and inclusive working environment.
* Strong analytical thinking which enables you to solve complex problems independently and efficiently while maintaining accuracy and effectiveness.
* Passion for achieving successful outcomes by leading and inspiring others.

Our UK Pharmaceutical head office is situated in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, with beautiful countryside surrounding the area. Supported by major motorways & airports as well as being a 30 minute train ride to London, access is easy. Our award-winning office, known as Hexagon Place, was opened in 2005 and provides a modern, flexible working environment with facilities that are second-to-none.
