Following a retendering process, the children's service is due to be transferred to the new provider on the 1st of April 2025. Given this post sits within the transferring service, in line with the legislative requirements, the successful candidate will be part of the TUPE transfer along with other colleagues.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapists, with a special interest in working with preschool children aged 0-5 years and their families. You will primarily work as a member of the team covering South West Surrey in either Guildford or Farnham locality.

Main duties of the job
This is a challenging, varied and rewarding role. Day to day you will be conducting assessments, writing reports and running therapy sessions (groups/individual) for preschool children; including children with language delay, social communication & interaction differences, down syndrome, speech difficulties, complex needs. You will predominantly work in one locality in South West Surrey.
As part of your role you may also be involved in:
* Delivering training to parents, nursery school staff and other professionals.
* Supporting and line managing less experienced SLTs and/or SLTA.

You will be supported by the following:
* Regular group supervision, managerial supervision and a well-established appraisal system.
