Job Role: Nightshift Warehouse Supervisor

Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Direct Report: Warehouse Operatives / Leading Hands
Hours: 37.5 hours, Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am
Job Purpose:
The primary functions of the Warehouse Supervisor are to oversee the Pick Pack operation during the night.
Duties will also include the recording of KPIs.
The candidate will be expected to learn the WMS system at a level to troubleshoot issues that may impact warehouse processes.
The role will require the successful candidate to have a hands-on approach at times and will be expected to lead by example.
Other key areas of the night warehouse supervisor will be:
• Directing staff and calling overtime.
• Giving additional training as required.
• Ensuring adherence to all current H&S and quality policies within the workplace.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervision of a team of warehouse staff.
• Processing of picking lists released in Dynamics 365.
• Issue & monitoring of workloads within your team.
• Troubleshoot issues with automation (training will be given).
• To identify and resolve general issues with WMS / Scanners.
• Recording of output activities and quantities for management reporting.
• Responsible to ensure a decent level of regular housekeeping is achieved.
• Fire Marshall / 1st aider for his/her specific area.
• Recording and reporting of incidents to Management (H&S, disciplinary, and grievance).
• Ensuring operator adherence to the Company’s current ISO 9001 & health and safety policies.
• To control in-house consumables, ensuring orders are placed and receipted correctly.
• Annual reviews of Operatives working within the department.
• People HR administration as required, ensuring all absence documentation, holiday requests, and relevant forms are up to date and recorded correctly.
• The accurate reporting of overtime and agency staff hours to the department manager.
• Review and organise various shift patterns and staff numbers as the business needs.

Nights Warehouse Supervisor Experience and Qualifications:
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Computer literate using Microsoft Office suite and associated business software.
• Experience of working within a warehouse management system (WMS).
• A sound knowledge of Warehouse protocols and H&S best practice.
• MHE trained (Preferred but not essential as in-house training can be provided).
