Location: Leicester LE3 (1 day in Nottingham NG8)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

What We Need From Yü
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
Financial Management:
1. Take ownership of accurately tracking and reporting broker commissions, fees, and any financial exposure associated with each broker relationship.
2. Ensure commissions and associated fees are aligned with the agreed terms and are applied in a timely manner.
3. Monitor and manage costs, ensuring budgets are adhered to and identifying any areas for cost optimization.
4. Implement controls to ensure adherence to our Broker Framework Agreement and regulatory standards.
Performance Analysis and Optimisation:
1. Analyse broker performance, including commission spend versus the revenue generated, to assess the effectiveness of each broker relationship.
2. Utilize data-driven insights to monitor broker ROI and overall performance, identifying trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
3. Collaborate with the data team to design and build dashboards that track broker activity, commissions, and performance metrics, ensuring processes are clear and any gaps are identified and addressed.
4. Present key findings and performance updates to the executive team, offering insights and recommendations.
Compliance and Risk Management:
1. Ensure all broker agreements are compliant with contractual terms, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines.
2. Assess and manage risks associated with broker relationships, including financial, credit, and bad debt exposure.
3. Implement risk mitigation strategies where needed, ensuring financial and operational risks are controlled.
Team Collaboration:
1. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and legal, to ensure broker management aligns with broader business objectives.
2. Provide guidance to internal teams on managing broker relationships and ensure clear communication across departments.
3. Act as a key point of contact between brokers and internal teams, ensuring all parties are aligned on terms and performance goals.
About Yü
If you have what it takes you could be just what we’re looking for…
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are a plus.
2. Proven experience in broker relationship management or a similar role within the energy sector.
3. Strong data management skills, with experience in analysing performance metrics and presenting data-driven insights.
4. Ability to guide data teams to build effective dashboards and monitor broker performance from start to finish.
5. Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and self-motivate in a fast-paced environment.
