P W Gates Distribution Ltd is currently recruiting at our Wixams site in Bedfordshire.
The Role:
VNA Drivers Warehouse Operative – Pickers & Packers – Day Shift – Tuesday to Saturday.
Operating VNA & Forklifts in a busy food and drink warehouse.
Responsibilities include:
1. Picking and packing orders for despatch.
2. Relocating stock in and around the warehouse, putting goods away and replenishing aisles.
3. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
4. Decanting and quality inspection of stock.
5. Occasional reworking of stock from Euro to UK Pallets where needed for orders/inbound.
6. General warehousing duties including housekeeping.
7. Completing warehouse paperwork accurately.
The Candidate:
Minimum qualifications include:
1. Previous proven experience of working within a warehouse environment.
2. VNA license as a minimum.
3. Experience of loading & offloading vehicles.
4. Strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Experience of working towards targets and deadlines.
Shift Time:
Day Shift is Tuesday to Saturday, 06:00 – 15:00 with a 1-hour break.
Schedule: 8-hour shift.
Salary: £25,600 – £26,000 per annum.
