Job title: Data Quality and Governance
Location: Glasgow. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £52,000 (depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead the delivery of the Data Governance / Assurance framework to the RCD Programme
* Delivery of data governance and assurance awareness and training across the business
* The creation of the programme’s data models and Information Asset Register
* Creation of specification documents for new data management requirements
* Implementation of Data Principles across the programme
* Ensuring the resolution of data quality issues are completed and suitable processes are in place to stop repeat of issue
* Maintaining and assuring Data Standards and Policies
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Good mechanical and design engineering, data quality knowledge
* Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
* IT skills, Microsoft and Excel for data analytics
Desirable:
* Experience leading a team
* Knowledge of engineering Lifecycle management
* The ability to articulate complex issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience using Tableau and Jira
Applicants should ideally be Degree qualified or have equivalent experience, likely to be in a technology, engineering, science or IT related discipline. Applicants should be a Chartered Engineer or hold another equivalent professional registration with a relevant institution.

The Data Quality and Governance Team:
The Principal Data Governance Engineer will work closely with key stakeholders within the programme identifying and resolving data quality issues. Implementing the data governance framework within the programme.
