The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving growth by building relationships with vendors and end customers. You will be responsible for promoting leasing as a payment option and positioning our client's company as their preferred partner. This role requires a mix of direct sales, vendor collaboration, and strategic relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Canvass equipment vendors to introduce leasing options and establish strong partnerships.
2. Contact end-user customers to highlight the benefits of leasing solutions.
3. Accurately calculate and negotiate margins on lease deals.
4. Manage the sales process to ensure smooth, efficient transactions.
5. Maximize our client's presence with vendors as the go-to leasing partner.
6. Conduct yourself professionally and build long-term relationships with clients and partners.
7. Continuously develop personal and professional skills to drive success.
What We're Looking For
1. Proven experience in leasing, asset finance, or a related industry.
2. Strong sales record with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
3. Motivated by financial rewards and bonus structures.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially over the phone.
5. Well-organized, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
6. A positive, 'can-do' attitude and willingness to go beyond the call of duty.
7. Flexibility with working hours and a full driving license (required).
