Are you a construction or projects lawyer with a passion for clean energy? This is a standout opportunity to join a high-performing national practice in London, advising on some of the most innovative and high-profile clean energy projects in the UK.
With a London base and access to a wealth of sector expertise across the firm's national network, you'll play a central role in the delivery of cutting-edge clean energy infrastructure projects.
This is a chance to join a dynamic, collaborative and forward-thinking team, led by recognised experts in the clean energy sector. You'll work closely with the London-based National Head of Clean Energy, and benefit from direct access to Partners and senior colleagues across other key locations.
With the firm's London office as your base, you'll be well-placed to lead on major client relationships, contribute to high-value mandates, and play a visible role in the continued growth of the team.
As a member of the clean energy construction team, you will advise clients on:
1. EPC contracts, O&M agreements, LTSAs and component warranties
2. BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) supply agreements with globally recognised manufacturers
3. Project development, acquisitions and disposals across the clean energy lifecycle
4. Major infrastructure transactions spanning solar PV, wind, hydro, energy-from-waste, hydrogen, biogas, EV charging and more
You'll also collaborate closely with colleagues in real estate, corporate, finance, environment and disputes - all of whom are highly engaged in the clean energy sector.
Candidate requirements:
UK-qualified with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in construction, commercial or projects work - ideally within the clean energy or wider infrastructure sectors.
This is a client-facing role, so we're looking for confident communicators who are proactive, commercially astute, and excited about playing a part in the UK's net-zero transition.
