Due to a number of ongoing projects including the implementation of a new ERP system the team has gone from strength to strength over the previous few years, meaning an increase in size and the need for this position. Role details This Purchase Ledger position is initially a temporary 3 months contract, with a high chance of it going permanent after this for the right candidate. You will assist the Finance Manager with all aspects of the Purchase Ledger from processing Purchase Invoices on their ERP system, through to resolving and queries and setting up new payments. The level of responsibility and autonomy you receive will depend on your individualcapabilities and experience. Ideally this will suit a candidate with strong transactional experience with Accounts Payable having been at least 50% of their role, if not stand alone purchase ledger. The business is growing in size and continuously striving to improve processes to achieve maximum efficiency and so its paramount you have worked in a fast paced business previously, or have the characteristics to suit and thrive in a fast paced environment. Experience with an ERP system would be advantageous, and you must be confident in talking to other departments in order to resolve invoice queries efficiently.
