Job Title: 1:1 Support Year 5 Location: North West England, Lancashire, Skelmersdale Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Salary: £12.90 - £14.00 Per hour Job Duties: The 1:1 Support Year 5 role involves providing dedicated support to a Year 5 student in an educational setting. Duties include assisting the student with their academic work, helping them stay focused and engaged in learning activities, and providing emotional support as needed. The role may also involve liaising with teachers and parents to ensure the student's needs are met. Required Qualifications: A relevant qualification in education or a related field Experience working with children in an educational setting Excellent communication skills Education: A degree or equivalent qualification in education or a related field Experience: Previous experience working with primary school-aged children in a support capacity Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the primary school curriculum Ability to provide individualised support to meet the student's needs Strong interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) Experience working with students with specific learning difficulties Working Conditions: The role is based in a primary school in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. The working hours are full-time during school hours. The environment may be busy and noisy at times, requiring the ability to remain calm and focused.
