Vacancy Location: Ty Cwm Gwendraeth, Llannon Road, Upper Tumble, Llanelli SA14 6BU
Shifts: Full-time 36 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)
Pay Rate: Basic rate of £12.30 per hour
Additional Pay: If you work shifts at Ty Cwm Gwendraeth, you will be entitled to an additional gross 50p an hour for all shifts. These rates are discretionary and subject to change in line with business needs.

What is Involved
As a Chef, you will play a vital role in our Care Homes by preparing and producing excellent quality meals. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Welcoming the people we support warmly and embodying our values.
2. Collaborating with colleagues to provide efficient support and supervision to kitchen staff.
3. Planning meals in consultation with residents and staff to meet individual dietary needs.
4. Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety regulations and relevant legislation.
Role Responsibilities
1. Providing high-quality food tailored to individual needs.
2. Following procedures to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable care in food provision.
Essential Skills
1. 12 months cooking experience.
2. Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion for making a difference.
3. Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve.
4. Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable).
5. A commitment to undertake training and development.
Desirable Skills
1. Previous experience in a kitchen within a social care setting.
2. Knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunities.
3. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
4. Confident IT user.
