Electronics Design Engineer

Within this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing hardware components and embedded software systems for our electronic products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take product requirements and break them down to hardware level requirements.
* Component selection to ensure the right solution is implemented for the final product.
* Schematic layout of PCBs.
* Liaising with PCB fabrication and assembly houses during initial manufacture.
* Board bring-up, debug, and integration testing undertaking collaborative working with embedded software engineers.
* Development of appropriate test hardware and procedures for development and production.
* Create high-quality documentation (requirements capture, test plans and reports, design documentation, etc).
* Support continuous improvement on existing products.
What we’re looking for:
* 2 years experience within an electronics engineer role.
* An understanding of hardware design, including digital circuit design and PCB layout.
* Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively.
Nice to have:
* Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
* Familiarity with communication interfaces such as Bluetooth.
* Experience and knowledge of UKCA, CE and UL standards.
* Embedded Software Development: Develop embedded software for microcontrollers and other embedded systems, including firmware, device drivers, and application software, using programming languages such as C.

* Salary dependent on experience, in the range of £30,000 to £40,000 per annum.
