If so, we have an opportunity that may be for you We are seeking a Coordinator to provide vital administrative support to two key talent development initiatives: Apprenticeships, our portfolio of work-based training opportunities funded by the apprenticeship levy; and the Technician Commitment, a varied programme which aims to build greater visibility, recognition and career development for Imperial’s technicians, and sustainability of technical skills. This is a new and varied role and a chance to contribute to exciting projects in a world-leading university. What you would be doing As our Coordinator - Talent Development, you will plan and coordinate an annual programme of training, events and networking for apprentices and technicians at Imperial. You will support the recruitment and onboarding of new apprentices, providing a professional and approachable service and high quality, timely information about our programmes. You will also play a key role in developing communications that promote and celebrate our offer, to include webpage content, newsletter articles, social media posts and more What we are looking for You should have previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role, where you have balanced and organised a varied workload. In addition, this role requires: Strong customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills An ability to build and maintain good working relationships Time management skills IT literacy, including experience of using automated systems Some knowledge of and/or familiarity with one of the following would be advantageous, but is not essential: apprenticeship programmes, technical staff working in Higher Education, work experience programmes, or other work-based learning schemes. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.
