Job summary Stourport Medical Centre are looking to recruit a qualified Healthcare Assistant who will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care, strictly in accordance with specific partnership guidelines and protocols. Main duties of the job This role would include the following: New patient health checks ECG recording Phlebotomy Injections to include Influenza, Pneumococcal, Vitamin B12, Shingles Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording Chaperoning duties Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions including assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations where applicable About us Wyre Forest Health Partnership: one successful and ambitious health partnership working at scale together to provide high quality innovative patient care, delivered by a valued and respected team.
