We are on the lookout for a Transport Supervisor to take charge of fleet operations, lead a team of professional drivers, and ensure top-tier service delivery every single day. If you are ready to make an impact and thrive under pressure, we want to hear from you.
What You will Be Doing:
* Lead from the front—briefing and debriefing drivers and keeping communication clear and consistent.
* Keep the wheels turning, plan and manage vehicle loading and dispatch with precision.
* Drive continuous improvement, track driver performance using system, deliver coaching, and arrange development sessions with the Driver Standards Manager.
* Maintain service excellence, monitor payloads, telemetry systems, and ensure delivery targets are consistently hit.
* Stay ahead of the curve, collaborate with key teams to ensure full fleet availability and stock continuity.
* Keep the data flowing, accurately input daily fuel usage, driver worksheets, and generate purchase orders.
* Be the go-to leader, oversee warehouse operations and health & safety out-of-hours, ensuring smooth handovers and safe operations.
What You will Bring:
Must-Haves:
* Proven experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role.
* Strong leadership qualities with a hands-on, proactive approach.
* Comfortable with IT systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and distribution management tools.
* Excellent numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Background in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment.
* Familiarity with transport systems like Isotrak and telemetry tracking.
* Experience managing warehouse operations and out-of-hours safety protocols.
