Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Band 5 Staff Nurse (Registered Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses) to work within the Neuro psychiatry inpatient service on Ward 2, Walkergate Park.
The regional service supports individuals who have neurological disorders such as Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, MS, and TBI, requiring specialist neuro psychiatry input. We aim to provide a secure, low stimulus environment suitable for individuals needing a full assessment of their needs including nursing, medical, psychology, OT, physio, SALT, and dietetics.
Successful applicants must have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, safe patient care and an interest in working within Neurological care in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Education and Qualification
* Post registration clinical experience
* Successfully completed the OSCE exam
