We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Team Manager to join the team within our East Sussex Community Equipment Service Centre, based in Hailsham. This role will be responsible for the overall daily management of our warehouse team.
As a healthcare equipment provider, Millbrook Healthcare work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids to support people in their day to day life. Our community equipment ranges from simple walking frames and crutches to more complex equipment such as beds, hoists and pressure care equipment. We also carry out minor adaptations such as the installation of handrails and grab rails within the home which can make a significant impact in giving people the confidence to live more independently.
About the role:
* Oversee the efficient day to day operation of the Warehouse Team.
* Drive efficiencies across the service centre in terms of sales costs and contract delivery.
* Support, lead and manage the Workshop and Warehouse service teams within the CES service centre.
* Support the operational manager in the delivery of the strategic change management programmes within the contract.
* Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork to ensure KPI targets are met or exceeded.
* Drive upskilling and development within the warehouse team, carrying out regular one to one check-ins with colleagues.
* Oversee staff training and ensure mandatory training is complete within set timelines.
* Conduct daily warehouse walks to inspect the warehouse to ensure it is safe to work in. All MH equipment needs to be checked pre-shift and documented.
* Hold a daily huddle with the warehouse team to communicate any updates, changes and performance issues. All instances and near misses should be recorded in a timely manner.
What are we looking for?
* Experience of stock management would be advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with internal staff, prescribers and service users.
* Good level of administration and customer service skills.
* Competent IT skills and ability to read and report on data.
* Resourceful and motivated to succeed.

* Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00 plus weekends on rota.
