Role Purpose:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing specific Indirect categories, including IT, HR, Facilities, and Marketing. You will lead procurement activities to drive cost savings, foster supplier innovation, and support sustainability initiatives. The position involves developing and implementing category strategies, optimising supplier relationships, and ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and environmental compliance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable and impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Category Management: Lead indirect activities and projects across IT, HR, Facilities and Marketing, develop category strategies, and analyze suppliers, markets, and supply chains to meet business needs.
* Supplier Relationship Management: Build strong supplier partnerships, drive innovation, and ensure compliance with ethical, environmental, and regulatory standards.
* Cost Optimisation: Deliver cost-reduction strategies, and achieve procurement targets.
Requirements:
* Strong category Indirect buying and supplier relationship management experience (essential)
* Strong drive to deliver results and build relations at all levels (essential)
