Part Time Finance Manager

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing firm based in the Wirral area who are looking to appoint a Part Time Finance Manager on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant will act as the business partner for the division, ensuring transactional and compliance processes, along with monthly accounts packs are completed to a high standard.
Key duties include:
1. Oversee work of transactional team and Assistant Accountant to maintain data integrity
2. Preparation (and further development) of the month-end management accounts pack and ledger management
3. Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
4. Management and analysis of the P&L including variance analysis with commentary
5. Maintain Fixed Asset Register
6. Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow management
7. Approve purchase ledger payments
8. Proactively monitor and improve working capital
9. Provide valuable insight to key senior stakeholders
10. Finance point of contact for business units
11. Prepare VAT returns & payments
12. Prepare monthly payroll and pension submissions
13. Reports and analysis as requested
14. Development of key finance processes and control systems
Person specification:
15. Qualified or qualified by experience
16. Experience producing monthly management accounts
17. Experience of balance sheet reconciliations
18. Sound transactional experience
19. Strong people management skills
20. Good Excel Skills (VLOOKUPs/Pivots etc.)
21. Excellent communication and time management skills
