In this role, you will collaborate with designated hospitals and centres to deliver expert education to patient’s families and care givers within the Sussex area. You will be responsible for the safe administration of parenteral nutrition, biologic therapies and intravenous medications and to administer these medications to children as required. Your goal will be to optimize therapeutic benefits, enhance treatment adherence, and ensure a positive patient experience, all while adhering to quality and contractual standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct training interactions to ensure patient’s family or care givers are able to safely administer medication prior to patient leaving hospital. Undertake a clinical assessment of patients to ensure they are well enough to receive treatment, including completing any required observations such as o2 saturation, blood pressure and heart rate. Provide on-going support to patients through the combination of support programmes to include telephone, clinic-based and home visits as per product and client protocols.
