We are looking for a Counter Fraud Causation Team Leader to lead and inspire our team in identifying the causes and key contributors to fraudulent activities. This role would be well suited to someone with solid causation experience who wants to take the next step in their career and progress into a role with management responsibility as a Team Leader. What will you be doing? As the Causation Team Leader you will ensure that fraudulent activities are detected and addressed with the highest level of precision and integrity. Our team is committed to protecting our clients and maintaining their trust through proactive fraud prevention and investigation. You will undertake file reviews and audits for Fee Earners within an appointed team to ensure effective case management and the production of high-quality work, as well as supervising the team, the Team Leader will be tasked with ensuring that the client and its customers continue to receive a best-in-class service from HF. You will do this by monitoring the performance, workload and engagement of the team as well as the performance of the numerous market leading and innovative strategies that are regularly rolled out by the client. Other responsibilities will include: Ensuring compliance with service standards within the Fraud Department and provide a point of contact for the Partnership/Senior Management. Maintaining personal awareness of the relevant firm standards and working practices as set out by the Partners. Escalating any concerns surrounding the performance of staff or changes in workload to the Partnership/Senior Management. Undertaking general supervisory duties including monitoring of timekeeping, checking FE’s post, covering holidays and sick leave. Informing the Team Leader/Partner of any individual or team training needs. Completing staff probationary reviews and appraisals where necessary. Supporting the People Department with recruitment, if appropriate. Producing statistics concerning the team for any internal or external audits/tender documentation. Ensuring that all cases are dealt with in compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and Law Society Practice Management Standards. Keeping up to date with all correspondence relating to files. Complying with HF practices and procedures. Coaching and mentoring the Causation Champions within the team. Monitoring the performance of numerous causation strategies in order to feedback on results to the Partnership / Senior Management and the client on a monthly basis. Monitoring workloads and ensure that all team members remain fully engaged and productive. Monitoring the performance of all members within the team in-line with the systems recently adopted. What do I need? The ideal candidate will have been working in a fee earning role for several years with prior experience managing and developing high-performing teams. Strong leadership abilities, an analytical approach and a team player mentality are all traits that will make you successful in this role. The position would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, who is keen to motivate the team to achieve their potential whilst delivering a high-quality service to the client, ensuring deadlines and strict SLA’s are met.
